The Adventures of Cassandra Rho Series is a multi-part fantasy series about Cassandra Rho by Phillip Martin.

Orphaned at birth with her twin sister, Kessi, Cassandra Rho finds happiness in the early years of her life. However, at age five, something unique, yet tragic, befalls her adoptive family, resulting in a traumatic experience for the young girl. She soon realizes she possesses special powers and is unlike the other children at the orphanage. She quickly becomes an outcast and falls under the scrutiny of the lord of the orphanage, Ronnis D’Breeth. He accuses her of witchcraft, which is illegal in her little town. However, with her strange ability to summon and control ravens and the ability to see arcane symbols floating around her, she secretly begins learning and practicing magic.

As she grows into a young adult, she finds herself in trouble with the sheriff of Oldorburg and is forced to flee the town. Her unexpected rescuer takes her to the magnificent city of Pelesea, where she starts life anew. There, she finds acceptance of her witchcraft, develops friendships, and finds unexpected romance. However, as the days pass, she becomes more agitated about not having her family safely beside her. As her anger and frustration grow, so do her problems in Pelesea, giving birth to a rival at the school of magic.

She eventually discovers a strange hermit in the bowels of the temple of Pelesea. He tells her of her origins and an extraordinary artifact that awaits her; a birthright of incredible power known as Zolmex. He also tells her of a dark, evil prophecy that she seems to be the center of concerning the demon lord Marnelphion.

She sets off on a quest to find Zolmex and rescue her family and end the developing prophecy that plagues her. Her adventures are plentiful, and the many challenges and exotic creatures she meets along the way will test her powers and resolve.
